What is the connection between an elephant 🐘, a failed robbery 💰, and a wedding 👰?
Ten years ago, a client approached us with an unexpected challenge: to talk about flat tires.
Not just flat tires, but everything that goes with them: stress, danger, wasted time, cost… And above all, to show that this universal problem is experienced very differently from country to country.
The problem: how to represent all the realities of the world in a single film? Mission: impossible…
So we changed the rules and called on those who experience it on a daily basis.
💡 Our approach: an international competition open to audiovisual schools around the world.
Students were given free rein. The only requirement was to show what a flat tire means in their country.
🎬 The result: a year and a half of production, hundreds of student projects received, 120 films selected by a professional jury.
Local, fresh perspectives, a new and sincere, and often very funny, take on the subject, because, after all, a flat tire can also be taken with a sense of humor. And one detail that connects them all: that famous angry kick in the tire.
🌍 A collective and creative film. A patchwork of styles, emotions, and perspectives.
A project that reminds us, even today, that the best ideas often come from working together.
